Theatergroep Nijinsky

This is the promotional poster for the play Herman Gorter, staged by the Dutch theatre company Theatergroep Nijinsky in 1978.
Though short-lived, Theatergroep Nijinsky made a striking and brilliant impact on the history of Dutch theatre with its experimental approach. Rather than performing traditional classical plays as written, the group was known for its avant-garde, musical reimagining of the lives, spirits, and works of real-world poets and artists.
