Despite today’s digital world, street posters were once the real-time timeline of everyday life across Europe.
This promotional flyer was produced by PLAKATSERVICE, a poster printing and posting service based in the Aargau region of northern Switzerland. They handled everything from designing and printing posters to putting them up around the city.
Featuring a collage parody of 19th-century poster hangers, newspaper-style typography, and rough Xerox textures, this piece captures the raw spirit of late-1970s and 1980s DIY punk culture and Xerox art.
