1975年にルクセンブルク国立図書館で開催された「切手・印刷・出版・報道展（Exposition Philatélique - Imprimerie, Édition, Presse）」の宣伝ポスターです。
会場となったルクセンブルク国立図書館は、同国の書籍や印刷された文化的遺産をすべて保存・記録する最高峰の機関です。そのため、ただの趣味の展示ではなく、「印刷と郵便が人間のコミュニケーションをどう変えたか」を学べる、学術的にも価値の高い一般向けの文化イベントとして開催されました。
ポスターに名がある W. Serres（Willy Serres）氏は、ルクセンブルクの著名な切手収集家であり、同国のテーマ別切手収集連盟（Philcolux）の会長を務めた人物です。
この展覧会は、彼が長年かけて集めた膨大な個人コレクションをベースに企画されました。
