1986年にVOGUEがオランダ・アムステルダムで主催したファッション展「LA MODE」の告知ポスターです。
参加デザイナーには、シャネル、ジャン＝ポール・ゴルチエ、ケンゾー、イッセイ・ミヤケなど、1980年代を代表するファッションデザイナーが名を連ねています。
ポスターのイラストは、80年代にカルト的人気を博したファッションイラストレーターTony Viramontesによるもの。本作は、ヴィラモンテス特有のダイナミックな画風を象徴する代表的なアートワークです。

This poster was created to promote LA MODE, a fashion exhibition organized by VOGUE in Amsterdam in 1986.
