It parodies a famous British World War I propaganda poster from 1915, "Daddy, what did YOU do in the Great War?", which was used to recruit volunteers.
The text on the GroenFront! poster reads, "Pap, wat deed jij in de eko oorlog?" (Daddy, what did YOU do in the eco-war?). It humorously yet critically depicts a father in the future being questioned by his children about what he did to stop environmental destruction.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0653/1091/6840/files/unnamed_6_5d347f04-61df-4a5c-878c-41020b9575d1.jpg?v=1792134458
